Keltic Services is owned and Managed by Steve Ashby. I have over 20 years experience in Business Consultancy, working in a range of business areas in both the public and private sectors. I am a member of the Project Management Institute, and a certified Project Management Professional. I am also certified to deploy both the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory) Psychological instruments. Having studied Marine Biology at London University, I initally worked as a computer programmer. From there I moved into software management and on into project & programme management. Over the last 10 years, I have focused increasingly on the application of Psychology to PM skills, and recently delivered a series of well received lectures entitled “Psychology in Project Management”. While continuing to work as an active Project Manager and Consultant, I now spend more time delivering leadership and related training. Steve is also a qualified practitioner of MBTI and SDI psychology instruments, and also has a certificate in Business Coaching. |
In my spare time, I am a keen golfer in the summer and skier in the winter. I am a certified Golf referee. In the past I have worked as a Ski Instructor and a Badminton Coach. Having lived in Germany for many years, I am fluent in German, with a limited knowledge of French. I also own and run a holiday business (Keltic Holidays) and breed Alpacas.

A number of our Project Management courses are run by our strategic partner MTS. MTS is run by John Doonan. John has had a 25 year career as a senior Project Manager with an impressive portfolio of successful projects delivered in the airline. life assurance, banking, manufaturing and retail industries. A PMI certified PMP, John now concentrates on Project Management consultancy and Europe-wide delivery of Project Management training to staff of a world-leading services company. |
